Not just in her music career, but feather hair extension also as the new pitch-woman for Prell, the shampoo brand fronted by her mom Christie Brinkley almost 25 years ago.Get a sneak peek at the new Prell commercial, starring the 24-year-old daughter of Billy Joel and featuring a tease of the song "Hideaway," Alexa's own composition."Wanna hear a great tip I learned from mom?" Alexa asks at the beginning of the spot, walking next to a white grand lace wigs piano with her mother's picture prominently displayed.This is the first national campaign for Alexa, who was in the news last December after being hospitalized for a reported homeopathic overdose.A statement issued by Ultimark Products, maker of Prell, said the brand had already seen growth since announcing its association with Alexa in February.For a less front lace wigs squeaky-clean ad, check out Paris Hilton's controversial commercial.
